As the group deals with Nia, a Frost spell goes awry, cutting a cable and throwing everything sideways! An unexpected effect makes it difficult for Adam and Bertram to hold their prisoner.
The crew of the IHA Silver Sail stops being so dense and admits their mistake of blaming our heroes. Because why would they put dead bodies in their own beds?! Bertram for sure would not have stood for that — Gross!

DM Raistlin discusses some of the changes our heroes notice when coming to Igelphia. But, Igelphia is not the only thing that’s changed…
The gang gets a new look, new stuff, and, well, not so new pasts that are creeping up on them. Turns out, the past is not as “behind them” as they had originally hoped.

“Now what do we do when we are sad?” — “Go get drunk?” — “Absolutely!”
Dirk uses the ancient art of drinking to help cheer up Bertram. Of course, their night of irresponsibility means LOTS of coffee to help them recover, which Adam is so kind as to bring to them.
Duty calls when there is a break-in at a warehouse on the docks. Our heroes journey there only to discover that the evidence just doesn’t add up, taking them into the sewers.

Follow the nasty-ass smell. Follow the nasty-ass smell.
Follow follow follow follow, Follow the nasty-ass smell.
They’re off to find the bad guys, the terrible bad guys of course.
*To the tune of “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”
Our heroes find themselves nearly overcome by the revolting smell that permeates throughout the sewer system. They use their detective skills to follow any signs of passage, hopeful to catch up to the perpetrators.
Along their not-so-glamorous journey, they find some squatters huddled around a garbage fire. Yes, let’s add burning trash smell to the already disgusting sewers. At first these squatters seem like friendly hobos, but they soon reveal themselves to be murder hobos with something up their tattered sleeves.

Ep. 13
A team arrives as backup in the sewers to clean up the leftover carnage from the Kobolds (formerly known as murder hobos). While they clean up, the trio continues to search the filthy maze of tunnels. Bertram goes from dapper and handsome to, well, not that when he takes an unplanned dunk in the sludge. By now we all know Bertram, and he is NOT happy about that one bit.
After the trail goes cold, they return to the precinct for well-needed showers, especially in Bertram’s case. Adam runs some lab tests which yield interesting results…

Ep. 14
Bertram takes his partners out to lunch to meet his contact at AlchemCo. She doesn’t realize what a precarious position she’s in as Bertram’s contact — let’s hope she doesn’t end up dead like Davis.
Dirk researches the various crime lords and gangs of the city. As he does so, he comes across something very interesting indeed. Well, let’s hope so or this would be a very boring episode!
Adam looks into the anatomy of Kobolds in an attempt to understand what happened in the sewers after they went all rage monster on them. Turns out it was a drug that induced this physical state. Yep, they were high on cocaine… Just kidding!

When the group finally heads home what seems like ages later, they find a nasty surprise in Dirk’s bed. And no, it’s not a gross hooker he left there. But they may still have to get him a new mattress.
The next day they meet with one of the researchers, a green Dragonborn woman, who worked on the drug. As they talk, a mysterious, small woman enters the room. The heroes decide to ignore their instincts - and the woman - which does not go well for them.

Ep. 16
Our heroes may be in trouble as the monster starts strong in the fight, charging in and flinging Dirk like a ragdoll. Oof, that has to hurt his pride. During the fight, some magical shenanigans turn out to be more helpful than expected - you know, unlike casting Sleep when someone is on a roof.
When the dust settles, Adinal finally starts to be useful just in time for AlchemCo guards to arrive to take her away. Dirk, ever the sneaky Trickster, tries his hand at espionage, but quickly realizes it takes more than mischief to uncover what’s going on here.

Ep. 17
Ah yes, roleplaying -- the essence of a great D&D campaign. We hope you think so, too.
Our heroes find themselves being called to the Principal’s office. Okay, he’s not the Principal, but he’s their boss. Mudbreaker and Adam get into it with each other, causing temperatures to rise.
The group also finds out the hard way that being the good guys sucks out loud when their morals are making decisions difficult. The DM thinks they ended up making the right choice in the end -- but that can be dangerous.
They interrogate Sarah and get some valuable information, but their feelings may be a bit hurt from the verbal abuse she slung at them. What a potty mouth!
When the trio finds themselves at yet another crossroads in decision-making, they ponder the possibilities for a bit too long, so Lady Fate decides to screw ‘em over and take matters into her own hands.

Oh no! Our heroes find Karl dead and discover that he was attacked in his own home by someone from the sewers. Remember those cartoons with really obvious footprints on the carpet? Kinda like that. To keep Sarah safe, they decide to send her to a safe house with Mudbreaker.
They follow the trail through the sewers - much to Bertram’s dismay - and find a mysterious figure standing behind a makeshift workbench. Just as they think they’re going to surprise them, Bertram finds the spawn of his nemesis crocodile behind them, blocking their exit.
