There are a few places I would not want to wake up in: an unknown basement, the woods, a sewer, etc. But one I am adding is definitely a dingy clinic where you might be concerned they were using the same sheets from the night before that someone died in. This is where Adam wakes up, his thoughts immediately going to his friends in need.
With the Oblex on the loose in the city, Dirk and Bertram find themselves in conversation with Fulcrum, an automaton bounty hunter with a unique personality. They realize that the Oblex is capable of some sort of mass mind control, leading them to interrogating Nia and getting the answers…
